1. Information We Collect

When you use Nutri Logic AI, we collect the following information:

• Account information: your name and email address
• Profile data: age, gender, height, weight, dietary preferences, and health goals you provide during setup
• Nutrition data: foods logged, meals scanned, hydration entries, and calorie history
• Device information: device type and operating system version for compatibility
• Authentication data: your login method (email/password or Google Sign-In)

We do not collect payment information — this is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalise the App's nutrition tracking features
• Generate AI-powered nutrition recommendations tailored to your goals
• Sync your data securely across your devices
• Send important account and service notifications
• Improve the App's performance and accuracy over time
• Comply with our legal obligations

3. AI and Third-Party Services

Nutri Logic AI uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Anthropic Claude API — processes meal descriptions and images to estimate nutritional content. Food descriptions and images you submit for analysis are sent to Anthropic's servers. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data.
• Supabase — stores your account and nutrition data securely in the cloud using industry-standard encryption.
• RevenueCat — manages your subscription status. We never see your payment details.
• Google Fit / Garmin — if you choose to connect these services, we read your daily activity data (steps, calories burned, heart rate) to adjust your calorie targets. We do not write to or modify your fitness data.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU (Ireland region). We implement:

• TLS encryption for all data in transit
• AES-256 encryption for data at rest
• Row-level security so users can only access their own data
• Regular security reviews and dependency updates

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever. We share data only with:

• Service providers necessary to operate the App (listed above), who are bound by data processing agreements
• Law enforcement or regulatory bodies if required by applicable law
• Successor entities in the event of a business merger or acquisition — you will be notified in advance

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU or UK, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restriction: request that we restrict how we process your data
• Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@nutrilogicai.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

• Open the App → Settings → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete account"

This permanently removes your profile, food log, and all personal data from our servers. Encrypted backups may be retained for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.

You can also email support@nutrilogicai.com to request data deletion without deleting your account.

8. Children's Privacy

Nutri Logic AI is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has created an account, please contact us immediately and we will delete the account and all associated data.

9. Cookies and Tracking

The App does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics that track you across other apps or websites. We use only essential session tokens required for authentication and app functionality.

10. International Transfers

Your data is stored in the EU (Ireland). If data is transferred outside the EU, it is subject to appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
